Did you know...

1) ...That the Intrepid-X class was just one of several dozen starship designs considered for the Arkangel?
2) ...That the first starship design was actually called the Phoenix and was similar to that of the Defiant-Class, with retractable nacelles?
3) ...That in previous concept scripts, the series was going to take place at StarFleet Academy?
4) ...That in every pilot episode script concept, Captain Johnathan Mathis is killed?
5) ...That the Dark Frontier logo is copyrighted and is in the catalog on the copyright office website?
6) ...That Dark Frontier uses Lightwave 3D to create all the CGI animation?

Deleted Scene: Dark Frontier Episode 2 / Act04 Scene 07

In the Temple, Kai Yensai stands looking at the display in her office. The dark figure staring back at her.

"The Arkangel is preparing to leave the station." - KAI YENSAI

"So the Colonel wasn't the best choice afterall." - DARK FIGURE (VOICE OVER)

"Well that's an understatement." - KAI YENSAI

"Shame we will have to do away with your services in sight of this failure.'' - DARK FIGURE (VOICE OVER)

"Please... I told you, I need time." - KAI YENSAI

"Your time is up Bajoran." - DARK FIGURE (VOICE OVER)

"Please, I can still get you the information. I just need too..." - KAI YENSAI

Just then there is a voice of a young woman in the Temple Hall.

"Kai Yensai." - TARYN VAO

The Kai turns and looks out of the doorway. She sees Taryn Vao, looking around the Temple. A grin comes over the Kai's face.

"I may have just found another way..." - KAI YENSAI

She presses the button on her desk and the view screen becomes hidden again. She then exits her office and approaches the young Bajoran girl. Taryn Vao walks to the Kai. She arrives with hands together infront of her.

"Welcome Child. Are you seeking the Prophets guidence today?" - KAI YENSAI

"No Ma'am. It is my fiance which brings me here. I'm worried about him. I was wondering if you could ask the prophets to watch over him for me." - TARYN VAO

"Of course my child. I'm sure they'll keep the off worlder safe and protected." - KAI YENSAI

"Thank you." - TARYN VAO

Taryn begins to walk away. As she leaves the Kai approaches the Orb and stretches her arms out to pray. She closes her eyes. But they only close for a moment. They soon spring open and she rolls her eyes. Lowering her hands she walks back into her office.

Then was re-cast to play Commander Nikolus Duado?
